It is surprising how fast fashion can change. Just a few years ago we discussed the attractiveness of peaked shoulders and appropriateness of wearing lingerie as outerwear. And today, during the Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 fashion season, we are talking about the influence of Oriental motifs on Western fashion and see how military trend is getting more and more popular with fashionistas who used to love feminine and delicate designs.
Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 Fashion Trend #1: Fur
Just like leather fur will appear on everything during the Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 season. Fur coats, hats, jackets, bags (See Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 Bag Trends) and every other item you might need can be made of fur. The variety is huge. However, it’s the coats which come in the biggest diversity. Choose the type and tone of your fur coat and stand out of the crowd!
Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 Fashion Trend #2: Leather
Leather is always in fashion but it usually gets trendier with colder seasons approaching. For Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 designers have created a lot of leather garments but they focused on coats and skirts making those sexy and stylish. Total leather look is also very popular. You can choose different types of leather in different colors and create the most amazing and chic look.
Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 Fashion Trend #3: Gothic
Gothic inspires many collections nowadays but it has become a really big theme during the Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 season. Black leather and velvet, long silhouettes, various cross details (remember Versace range?) and frightening makeup are just a few characteristics of this style.
Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 Fashion Trend #4: Velvet
Velvet is feminine and soft and every piece made of it has a certain vintage feel. Velvet dresses and suits which flooded the Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 runway looked wonderful and reminded us about the time when ladies liked looking like ladies and androgyny was never heard of.
Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 Fashion Trend #5: Knits
Knitted sweaters, dresses and cardigans are perfect for fall and winter. They keep us warm and look stylish. And now, with knits as a trend, there are plenty of knitted items available, in all possible colors, prints and lengths.

Fashion Trends for Spring/ Summer ~ 2012 ~
Fashion changes very quickly and that is what we love most about it. Have we barely filled our wardrobe for fall when designers tease us with the new ideas for spring. It’s a carousel that clears out pockets but makes us feel happy. See the list of Spring/ Summer 2012 fashion trends and plan your wardrobe for the new season!
After all Spring/ Summer 2012 shows I looked through my head was spinning. Every designer tried his best to surprise us and make us want to wear his creations. However, all of them worked with the same set of ideas – the trends – which we have to know to avoid getting lost in the carousel of styles, colors and fabrics.
Spring/ Summer 2012 Fashion Trend #: Hotpants. This trend was the most popular with designers. Hotpants came in a variety of styles and colors. They were denim, leather, perforated, high and low-waisted, wide and very tight-fitting.
Spring/ Summer 2012 Fashion Trend #: Animal prints. When someone says ‘animal print’ the first thing that comes to our mind is the leopard – the print we love and hate, it’s appealing but it’s been too long with us already. However, some designers still choose it for their collections. Now leopard print is not that one we’re used to. It comes in a variety of colors and the print itself has become smaller and more delicate. Along with leopard we see snakeskin and crocodile skin but other patterns are even trendier – those featuring lizards, cats and birds.
Spring/ Summer 2012 Fashion Trend #: Boat neck. Despite the fact boat neckline doesn’t show your cleavage to its best it does demonstrate the beauty of your shoulders. For formal occasions designers offer more demure versions of this trend but for casual garments neckline can go as deep as you wish.
Spring/ Summer 2012 Fashion Trend #: Boudoir fashion. Boudoir fashion has had a revival for Spring/ Summer 2012 fashion season. It isn’t as daring as it used to be but is still very sexy and erotic. Sheer slinky fabrics, lace trimming, ruffles and revealing necklines and splits – all these will be really trendy.
Spring/ Summer 2012 Fashion Trend #: Cold shoulders. We don’t remember who invented the cold shoulder but we should say ‘thank you’ to him as these shoulders are amazing. They make the entire outfit look relaxed and seductive.
Spring/ Summer 2012 Fashion Trend #: Pleats. Pleats were trendy last spring and summer, they have somehow stayed with us during fall and winter and, to our surprise, pleats are to be still popular during Spring/ Summer 2012 season. But they won’t be as girly any more. Pleats of the Spring/ Summer 2012 are fewer, larger and softer. They come on dresses mostly and give those a womanly look.
Spring/ Summer 2012 Fashion Trend #: Sheer clothing. Sheerness became trendy long ago when someone decided that revealing too much flesh was great. Now we take it pretty normal and even like it. For Spring/ Summer 2012 fashion season designers offer us to wear sheer skirts which can be both floor or knee-length. They also suggest us trying transparent toppers. And if before people wore these to cover themselves from the rain from now on these would be worn no matter what the weather was.

Fall/Winter 2011/2012 -
A real fashionista always plans her wardrobe beforehand. And while it is still three months ahead before the next fashion season designers have already supplied us with their ideas for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012. So, why not start working on creation of impressive looks which your girlfriends will later look at enviously ?
My suggestion is to begin with colors. And here are all color trends for the coming season... enjoy ;)
Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 Color Trend #1: Soft colors. It is essential to remember that in autumn and winter colors shouldn’t be as bright as they are in spring and summer. But it in no way means you have to go black, grey and brown. You can choose any color you like but make sure it is more subdued rather than flashy. Or you can opt for soft hues including lavender, cantaloupe, spindrift, or honeydew.
Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 Color Trend #2: Mood-improving bright details. If you think soft hues are dull there is another great color trend for you to choose – bright details. Add bright accessories to you look, like scarves, bags or hats, find a great-looking pair of boots, or go for one vibrant item that will become the focus of your attire. Be smart to keep the balance. Too many vivid colors in one look in summer is playful and interesting, but in winter it looks vulgar.
Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 Color Trend #3: Burgundy. If you want color but believe orange, lemon and magenta are too much for you try burgundy. It looks good on almost anyone and adds glamour to the appearance. This color is luxurious and there is hardly a way to spoil your look with it.

An octopus. Smoking fish. Consumed corn.
MirkoG di Brandimarte’s fall 2011 campaign is something of a visual feast, one of striking contrasts. Luxurious looking cuts contrast against the rusting hull of a docked ship. The summer sun radiates through a campaign meant to sell clothes for the coldest seasons of the year. Colours and sheers are utterly out of place. And then there are those sea creatures.
Yet di Brandimarte’s campaign is all the more striking for all the contrasts, conflicts and impossibilities – it moves somewhat away from a static image to become the ad campaign equivalent of a Where’s Wally book. One where you don’t just encounter an upcoming designer’s interpretation of modern fashion, but can continuously explore each image for more detail.
MirkoG di Brandimarte’s fall / winter 2011 campaign continues the collaboration between the designer and photographer Oskar Cecere; last year the pair took di Brandimarte’s clothes to the sea shore, setting model against mannequin in a colour washed evocation of Helmut Newton.
You can see all of MirkoG di Brandimarte‘s latest campaign featuring model Stasia Silveri.

Congratulations for Sofija!
Belgrade fashion model agency "Model Crystal Agency" Sofia Grijak (17) was declared the most successful models on the Fashion Week just completed in Rome, which lasted from 5 to 12 July.
Sofia wore most models, and recently became the face of a famous fashion designer Abed Mahfouz, whose creations bore in Rome. Otherwise, Sophia for some time now splits her time between Italy - Belgrade and is considered one of our most engaged models in the world.
